Getting the band more fans with The Union

EXPERIENTIAL - DIGITAL

 

Our task was to build a substantial social fan base (likes, shares, followers, views etc) to convince Radio 1 that Swiss Lips are worthy of airplay.

We moved the band into a warehouse (in Shoreditch, naturally) and spent most of the budget on a month of free parties and creative collaborations. 

We collaborated with Bastille and The Horrors, we made merchandise and gave it away for free. We worked with Vice editorial team, and the live events that we hosted (gigs, parties, workshops etc.) became the content for Facebook. In one month, we got an underground band to the Holy Grail of UK music - the BBC Radio 1 Playlist.
